The project with the kids from Frome College is in about it’s fifth week now. Plenty of work has been produced by all of us and we’re in the process of collating and editing it all down in order to produce a ‘zine-of-sorts as an outcome.
To outline things, the first week was spent seeing the the Intervention/Decoration show in Frome, talking about the work, taking photos and getting to know each other. A lot of the source material for the ‘zine was collected in this first outing.
Since then we’ve had practical sessions incorporating collage, photographs, writing, discussion, graffiti and produced new work each week. Tom has been been bringing his work in from outside the session to work from and with. Tom, Justin, and Cam all have interest in graffiti and we’ve spent lots of time discussing it. It’s been pretty fruitful.
